OUR PROJECTS
Basic Optometry Training
Train fresher Optometrists and help them build confidence into basic Optometry practice. It includes basic Optometry skill development trainings like retinoscopy, soft/rgp insertion, removal and fitting, basic binocular vision evaluation, patient counselling and so on.
Specialty CL Training
Train Optometrists having some experience of contact lens fitting and help them upgrade their contact lens practice into Orthokeratology, Scleral Contact lens fitting including Rose K lenses. Also, train them about Myopia Management through Multifocal contact lens and orthokeratology.
Vision Therapy Training
Train Optometrists having some experience of Binocular Vision evaluation and diagnosis into Vision Therapy practice. We will conduct a series of workshop and trainings which will enable our Optometrists to independently practice Vision Therapy at their own clinic.
About us
Nepalese Optometrists Society is a group of Optometrists working together to upgrade Optometry specialty practice in Nepal.
We have a group of experienced skilled Optometrists who will guide our young Optometry members and help them practice specialty Optometry with confidence. Any Optometrists from Nepal having an NHPC Registration Certificate can become our member and get membership benefits.
